Close Your Eyes; Open Your Heart

by RB   Apr 11, 2008

Entangle me in your arms; I need to feel your soothing touch,
Innocently kiss away these guilty tears; cease their existence,
Silence these quivering lips; diminish this ache in my heart.
Disregard the prevailing lies; truthful memories hold persistence.

It's undeniable: words emanating from true love hold endless meaning,
As they push the undetermined towards everlasting determination.
Tightly grasp content; summon satisfaction within a searching heart.
Embrace the love of a lifetime; declare an everlasting dedication.

Eyes wide open, hearts closed shut; ultimately love's worst enemy.
Emotions on lockdown only leave feelings inconceivably slanted.
Advice: young girl close your eyes, attempt to open your heart.
Goodbye doubt, it's time to stop taking his affection for granted.
