The Lake

by novice keathley   Apr 11, 2008

Out of the calmness and smoothness of the rippling of one tiny wave,
Comes a sense of ease and appease.

This wonder - such a creation!
Sends out a feeling of radiation.

The lake to some is a place of activity,
This great beauty can bring much more joy if viewed
with a much deeper sensitivity.

So much to consume,
The fresh smell of water, wild flowers and such.
For most, these are trivial, for they are in to big a rush.
One glance brings a sight that will hold the eyes,
This great still shinning piece of glass, breath taking it lies.

Soaking up the sounds, waves beating against the jagged rocks,
So much sweeter than boats beating against the docks.

Swallowing the calmness of the Lake, It's great!
A great energy release, bringing much wanted peace.

Out of the rippling of one tiny wave..
The Abstract beauty is so often overlooked,
On this lake, I could get hooked!
