Missing You

I am laying here in bed
Trying to fall asleep
But all I can think about is you
How much I love you
And especially how much I miss you

I miss the way you used
To hold me in your arms
When I would look up at you
And you would kiss my forehead

I miss the way you would
Always know how to make me smile
And wipe away the tears from my eyes
When I was sad

I miss how you could always brighten my day
And you always knew exactly what to say

I wish that I could have you back
That way I could have all these things
And I wouldn't just miss them
