My Addiction

by FangFreakk   Apr 12, 2008

Falling
Crashing
Shaking
Shivering
Dull my senses
put me to sleep
Destroy my body
alter my mind
Take my human side
it's all yours
Take me away I don't need this
I don't care.

My tears will dry
My mind will rest
Just keep feeding me my poison

My master,
I'm powerless
You cannot feel the false love I hold for you

My addiction
you never end
always
stroke
after
stroke
slap
after
slap
one wrong hit
and I will sleep
entombed by you forever

I really liked it. As my creative writing teacher would say, the general becomes the specific. Meaning that I'm sure your addiction may or may not be the same as the reader's but the poem is written in a way that applies to pretty much everyone. Excellent!
