Drunk Versus Sober

I drink to forget
Then I forget why I drink
So out of my head
So I don't have to think

Never any answers
At the bottom of my glass
So,one drink after another
And my gloominess shall pass

Then sober times,they hit me
Like a hammer to my head
Reality crashing around me
As I'm lying in my bed

So,I'll raise my glass again
It's the only way I know
Cheers my friends,it's not the end
But now I have to go
