Beyond repair
I saw my soul
A cry for help
In long despair.
It shouted and failed,
It sold its own self,
For the keeping of heart
On someone's top shelf.
To fake it all
Was the best it could do
Cause to lose and to fall
Is all it did knew.
The sky was so red,
The blood was to blame
From wounding the soul
With a ground breaking shame.
So I asked of myself
To follow the light
To see no more day
And fall one last night.
I just want to hold
Your hand on doomed breathe,
As the life drains
And my body goes cold.
Departing this life
Was the easiest part
To leave you behind
Is what I found so hard.
And in long despair
With a cry for help
I let go of my soul
Beyond repair!
