You noticed something long ago
Every time the black rain starts
The raindrops form a melody
In tune with your heart

i'm not going 2 say that this is my favorite line from this poem b/c i just couldn't decided, but this 1 speaks the most 2 me. i always walk in the rain 2. beautiful poem, really. 5/5

Cold black rain
Inside your mind?
Trying to warm yourself
Making a fire by your side

^ nothing outside can warm you up when you're cold inside...figured that out.

Rainfall is a deafening noise
The falling of the rain
Puts the raindrops in your head
Cold puddles in your brain

Hard to see the silver line
Thats supposed to be on every cloud
When cold rain and lightning
Are crashing their way down

^ i don't think there is always a silver lining..honestly. i don't think there is.

Hard to see anything
So many tears in your eyes
Not much to see really
Pitch black rain, darker skies

^ got hard to read here...tears in your eyes..

Shivering in your state of cold
Irony: numbness leads to pain
Too hard to start a fire
In the falling of the rain

^ numbness does lead to pain. which is funny, in a sick sort of way.

As it starts raining harder
You look up to the sky
Do your part to count the drops
Plus the tears you cry

^ it's hard to count raindrops..they look an awful lot like tears...and its harder to do when you can't see through tears anyway
