Friendship?

Two years have come and gone
The friendship that I ponder and long
For the things that were done and wrong

I don't ask for a friendship that was there to share
But a few words that would be here to bear

I apologize for the things that I have done
For the friendship that I had known will never be won

I understand what you did
And I don't blame you for what you have said
The growth from both of us has definitely been immense

Please forgive my negative nature at the time
For now I don't think that way
That is not my mind

As I do now and always will
Wish you the best with life and all that you will fulfill

I don't know if things will ever mend
But just know that you will always be my best friend
