The way of life

My friends just don't understand
then again there's no way they can
I tried to live a happy life
but through all the pain all i found was a knife
just two swipes and a lot of red
a couple hours later someone finds me dead
would anyone cry
would anyone grieve or would all it bring is a lot of relief
