Tonight you and I shared in moments of magical bliss
Unsurpassed pleasures and feelings flooded from your love
Our joys were magnified by the softness of sheer moonlight
Scented candle flames cast our striving shadows onto silent walls.

But now my heart is stilled; those beautiful moments never fade
Yet fresh in my mind is the memory of your continued beauty
Your magic lifted my love high into the moonlit night sky
Where rainbows lay in waiting to paint the new day after rain.

Though you have left me for awhile I strain my ears to hear you
Ever listening to hear the echoes of your quiet words of love
Try though I might none were there to bring back my desires
I sift in a river of memories listening for your soft; wondrous breathing.

Hauntingly I listen to the sound of moon-sand falling from my hands
My Orchid Lady I call out for you and wonder where you may be
No other person but you could thrill me with your tender touch .......
nor could they please me with the wisdom of your whisperings.

From the very first time we embraced and shared our open feelings
You captured me amongst your web of purest thoughts and zest for life
It had taken us years to cross bridges so we could share our togetherness
Bridges that today are now mere memories of our hopes and dreams.

In you was born a love of desire I will never experience with another woman
The commitment you gave me has lasted over many years of sharing
You give me so much more than you have ever asked of my own self.......
sharing each day with tender companionship, love, and vibrant happiness.

Should others of our kind experience the untiring love you freely share
