Truth

by Layla   Apr 17, 2008

Cold, shallow, a cell
you dive into the sun
running from watching
eyes and a hidden
body. Your mind is
blank as you run

I can't do anything to help
so I watch and wait,
are you going to cry?
Scream? Are you going
to lay down and give up?
Are you scared?

If you fear temptation
how do you learn?
Children know right from
wrong, but we need to learn!
Don't give up. Take my hand
and we'll got together

I'm scared, but I know I'm
safe. For the dark, I see day,
for the moon, I see light.
Stop running, chase your fear.
Take Hecate's hand and see
true darkness.

A new moon.
