Light

by Ares   Apr 17, 2008

I got troubles,
coming down my way,
I'm a failed act,
don't deserve the light of day.

it's too hard,
to keep on smiling,
but as i think of you,
i cannot help but to.

it's all right,
after all.

I'm sick and tired of,
assessing my troubles,
as they were some kind of a friend.
all i need is a glimpse of you,
put the light in me, baby!

i chuck my enemies,
down a chute of trash,
done thinking about all,
the things prone to make me cry.

all i need is smile from you,
and i tell a joke to jerk it out,
you put the light in me, baby!
