Over You

by silent soliloquy   Apr 17, 2008

I looked away
Then I look back at you
When you look my way
I get this feeling I can't undo

When you look me in the eyes
Everything's alright again
But the moment dies
And I can't bear the pain

You never noticed me
I was just a glass you looked right through
You crushed me in reality
Knowing that I fell for you

You watched me mend my broken heart
With mockery written all over your face
I should have known this from the start
Now I'm a fool on the surface

Guess I wasn't worth your time
Because all you did was break me apart
I was a bet to you, you freaking slime
How I wish I could rip out your heart

Now all I do is keep what's left of my dignity
Embrace the facts and swallow my pride
Even though I knew you made use of me
And took me for one hell of ride

Thank you for making me stonger
Because now I saw you right through
I won't make mistakes any longer
Right now, I'm over you
