Tragic Night!

by Robin Tanner   Apr 18, 2008

I'm happy and excited, we're going home now,
than i hear him say, let's drive a little more,
i don't know what to think,
it's alright, we'll get home after this.

We're still driving along,
everything is going good,
I'm a little tired, but I'll be alright,
so than he's telling me how it feels like he's home, than his eyes start to close.

Next thing i know we slide into a ditch,
on the other side of the road,
than we're free from that horrible ditch,
than straight into a river we go.

I climb out the window as fast as i can,
screaming for help, while he's just sitting there,
finally he gets out, and i hear voices,
these people take us into their home.

I'm sitting in a chair cold and shaken,
my clothes are all wet,
than police and firefighters come,
the police come over and we get into the police car.

Finally, I'm at home warm and content,
while he is at the police station,
i decide to lay back and close my eyes,
and all i see is us going into that water.

(This is the kind of night I had because I was foolish and got into that car with my father while he was under the influence of alcohol)

    Aww Robin ,
    this is so good .
it makes me sad to think about that night, how scary it was to hear about that, i can only smile now knowing nothing bad happened to you , and that youve learned from your mistakes and wouldnt do it again.
This is really good : )
    Love youu , xox
