Holocaust

You paint a picture in my head,
a lonely image of wealthy man,
lying alone in his wooden bed,
he only hopes to understand.

that everything is dark,
how he makes you feel,
how the world turns,
it's a lonely place.
is it a lovely place?

you turned them down again,
no need for any friends now,
when will this madness end,
don't you even wonder how.

that everything is dark,
how he makes you feel,
how the world turns,
it's a lonely place.
is it a lovely place?

but I've had enough of this,
I won't let him destroy you,
if I go down in history,
let it be known,
that I was born to protect you.
