Soliloquy coast

by Sarah   Apr 18, 2008

Staring into dark blue sea, i raise my hand in fair goodbye.
the sun far gone behind those clouds, my falling leaves curl up and die.
the wind points west far to the waves, horizons now seem way up high
I am the oceans gentle touch, the force that makes the sea-birds cry.

the sandy dunes along the shore, I was free once, not anymore
tangled lines surround my life, choice of event await in store.
forceful pushes lead me now, into an academic hall
the seaweeds caught in stony rocks, my graceful soul in sadness calls.

I feel the beach beneath my toes, the palm trees sway for me
A whispered voice now calls my name, says where i ought to be
Seconds tick fast along by, and i will always see
The true heart of my emptiness, the lack of love from he.
