You were promised to a wealthy man

(Inspired by the Slash snakepit and personal experience)

I guess you were promised to a wealthy man
Listing on the table all benefits you can profit
Quite attractive to a pretty woman
Everyone could kill for, but you have just to cheat

Cheating on my feeling
Business partnership looks much better
Money and carrier being a perfect healing
For You, once called Angel but names doesn't matter

I blamed Him taking you away from me.
Burned all my poems and guitar
Earning, so you could see
That I'm nothing but a beggar

I was blind, who could take you away
I was stupid, convincing you to stay
He just showed you the door
It was you who left the floor

Your decision brought me torture
But turned for you in a fortune
You should know my soul will give new springs
But then I will sing my lines with broken strings

I accept the fact, but I am too strong
I will bury and dig in our love memory
To Love a woman is so very wrong
Women are just money sympathy
