I was taught how to lie

by Litemc   Jun 30, 2008

I was taught how to lie
Since my eyes saw the light.
Lies about salvation before I die
Using "must" instead of a soft "might"

I broke all mirrors on the wall
Disclosers of my failure
Won't see my reflection otherwise I fall
Who can fool own return?

Looking forward to elapse early years
When grown up dreaming back for cap and feather days
Wasting present minding future fears
And missing both together with once granted Grace

I saw myself on top of success
Mistaken, living imaginary
Everything was perfect, unless
It has nothing to do with reality

Those incapable of any aspiration
I envy them with all my conviction

I wish I was a part of crowd
Prosiness, the place I could be found
