Blindness

I just want to whisk you away,
And safe you from all this stray.
I cant understand,
why wont they let us be.
Why cant they understand?
And open their eyes to see.
Maybe its not their eyes,
But its their hearts that,
they are blind from the truth
which they dont wish to seek.
Why cant they open up and take a peek?
