Soldier

by Goodbye   Apr 21, 2008

I am a soldier

I am carrying a weapon with me all the time
I keep it loaded, I try to protect you, my little one
This world we live is crazy, all the circumstances
are changing all the time and I try to keep this
chaos undercontrolled so some of us would
survive for tomorrow, some of us would be alive.
Too many people died already.

I am a soldier

I am standing in a crowd. This is my division
I gave my autonomy for taking orders from Captain
so this group would be stronger together,
be a part of one body, work as one person
As an individual none of this army would have
survived, neither none of us would complain
about lack of individual's autonomy

Note: I dislike all the wars in the world, killing innocent people and doing evil things in the name of something. Don't read this poem like it is realistic, it includes symbols.. I am not talking about the soldiers of a normal army...

Wow, i loved this poem alot

" am carrying a weapon with me all the time
I keep it loaded, I try to protect you, my little one"

these two lines explain alot about wars from another point of vie.

    and then

"This world we live is crazy, all the circumstances
are changing all the time and I try to keep this
chaos undercontrolled so some of us would
survive for tomorrow, some of us would be alive."

i can imagine how the people who were involved in this poem and conversation excellent picture.

"I am not talking about the soldiers of a normal army"

I agree with u... Even though ma two younger brothers serve d army.. still they too think like d comment u left below this poem..

But sumtimes wen d evil rules n we keep vigil n we forgive 100 sins but for d 101st sin we fight back... To protect innocence, love n 2 keep peace... is in our own hands ... Isn't it sister?

    Lovely poem, keep it up..

    Ur brother... Karan
