The Chamber

by Goodbye   Apr 23, 2008

It was you who entered the chamber
It was you who opened the door...

You enter the room and look around
There is a tiny wooden table and two little chairs
The surface of the table covered by dust
There is a handmade porcelain tea cup,
All decorated with roses and gold
They are gifts from grandmother who passed away
ten years ago...that time she realized first time word "death"..
She used to sit at the table, mostly alone but sometimes
when her father was not too busy, she invited him there
To have a cup of tea with her and just to talk
fulfill her loneliness, to share her one hundred dreams
Oh, those times seem lost almost 18 years in time
Only the remains are a staring photo on the frame
A blonde girl wearing a crown seated on a table
a smiling little princess, daddy's little girl
Oh how much love and hope she had
An innocent creature, unhurt happy girl
You turned around and noticed a cozy sofa
She used to sleep there, she never had her own room
Your gaze wanders around the room and it stops
There are medals hanging on the wall
they are still shining even though all covered by dust.
Yes, she won many competitions, she was good at every sport..
When she won, people praised her a lot in school
but a day after it nobody noticed she existed
Beside the medals there is a black and white painting
she has always been fond of art, she wanted to join art school
but her father said "being an artist you can never make a living"
There is a desk in the darkest corner of the chamber...
You pull the carton, there is a notebook
Inside it there¢??s nothing but hand-torn pages..
Her sister insulted her privacy and read it
after that she stopped writing for years...
On the desktop there is an Arabic Koran.
Text on the deck sparkles, she loves it...
The text reflects the flames of truth on her mind
there is photo hidden under the deck
There is girl posing to cam wearing short black dress
she wears black boots, she has long curly hair...
If you look carefully you notice bruises on her neck
she has a ruby ring on her finger...

Who is this girl...who's chamber is it...
Who can answer the question...
she can not answer for herself....

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Note: This poem is about me....as a person... For those who wanna know me...read it... Yeah...this is how many imaginary chamber would looked like... And this was only the first tour... The more you look the more you see.. Welcome to my world...
