Someday

One day I will be free,
Cast aside my chains,
Leave this land of loneliness,
Where nothing good remains.

That day will be beautiful,
Birds singing in the trees,
Flowers blooming in the park,
Solace in the breeze.

No more flames inside my head,
Mind shackled to the heart,
Breaking free of everything,
That tears this soul apart.

One day I'll release,
One day I'll forgive,
Dreaming it's tomorrow,
I will learn to live.

Not sure what I'm waiting for,
