Greed & Corruption

by Phoenix   Apr 23, 2008

Sightless eyes
and piercing cries
worship an unrelenting god
and praise an inconsistent religion.

They pray to an idol,
isn't that against their religion?
Never judge, accept everyone.
You, your different!
You aren't welcome!

Controlling and greedy,
What is this?
I give $100 every mass.
Never brag.

Last week we got $6,000
and we gave $1,000 to the poor,
(the other $5,000 fixed my car.)

Corruption and money,
this is our true religion
our psalm.

We don't kill!
They died simply because they don't believe.
"It's a choice we're not forced,"
cry brainwashed children.

We believe in..........
Or do we?

So many years
of brainwashing.

What is this?

This was supposed to be good
you were supposed to help.
Corruption and greed.

Another reading about
God's saving power.
How many people died yesterday?

He calls them back
because it's their time.
(A one month old was strangled yesterday.)

Everything happens for a reason
it's part of his plan.
The seven year old accidentally
fired the gun at his brother.

Who is you ruler?
The brainwashed answer in a millisecond.

Why does he let this happen?
Again they answer: He doesn't the other does.
But you say he is ALL powerful.

For some the brainwashing fades,
but others refuse to see it.

Greed and Corruption
fuels your religion.

Do you see it now?
Or are your sightless eyes
still searching
while you piercing cries
scream to deaf ears.
