This man....my Friend.

I will always remember you,
And you'll remember me.
You taught me life holds happy times,
Not pain and misery.
You made some extra time to help,
When you had none to share.
You'd spend most of your day studying
But could manage to be there.
And even when I was injured,
You would try to help me out.
You gave me hope I needed
And you never had a doubt.
Yet always you were there for me,
It never mattered the time, never at all
You taught me how to deal with life,
The challenges and the fall's.
A gentleman, and friend so true,
Your specialty was love.
I'll always think of you, my friend,
As a messenger from above.

And so I say GOOD-BYE to YOU,
And our talks new and old.
Because of what you've given me,
