Conclusion of the Dawn

by Triumph   Apr 24, 2008

It's not easy to see,
although in plain sight.
The darkness of pain,
inside the moonlight.

Faces show agony,
alone in the dark;
a season of dismay,
as it leaves its mark.

Falling to death,
I have to admit,
even when it got hard,
I would never quit.

I showed myself up,
let dying days rest,
I knew that it mattered,
but it was all for the best.

I stood high,
I stood tall,
wasted not a day,
but life just strolls on,
as soon as it may.

Even though I tried hard,
leaving myself to face blame,
no matter what I did;
it was always the same.
