Fugue

by Evee Taylor   Apr 25, 2008

I cannot believe how I could have been so naive
Fell for sweet traps of words now sharp like swords

If only I could have understood, it was all twisted old wood
Been worked on many a time, but it was truly sublime

Even now I miss it so, hate having to let it go
Thinking though without fugue, will be my refuge
