Tough Love

by McGeek   Apr 25, 2008

You can love me all you want.
Give me things; your heart -- praise and passion.
Convince yourself that I'm the one,
But I'll never admit the obvious.
I'll stomp on your heart and throw it away;
Teach you what it means to hate.
Tear you apart from the inside out;
Starve your body with lust.
I wouldn't dare kill you, because --
Eventually, your life
Will -- be of importance to mine,
But i'll threaten you with words
That you'll never forget;
Tell you secrets that will break you down,
And at my weakest -- if you're still around,
I'll admit that I love you.
Congratulations; you've earned it.
