For You.

For the boy in the corner
Who wants his pain to end
Who wants the shouting to stop
Who wants to be set free
Who wants to live his life and not hide
Who wants the blade in his hand to end his suffering.

For the girl hidden away
Who want her pain to end
Trying to hold back the tears
Praying he doesn't come again
Hoping the footsteps travel past her door
But when the demon walks in
The look in her eyes
The look of fear
Should have stopped him in his tracks.

For the young man locked away
Who wants his pain to end
Locked up in a cell for a murder he didn't commit
Crying himself to sleep at night
Going insane from the voices inside his head
That get louder and louder every time he closes his eyes
Who still sits in the corner
With a blade in his hand wanting it all to go away.

For the young woman behind her shield
Who wants her pain to end
Nursing the wounds from her loving spouse
Scared to show her face through fear of ridicule and disgust
Hiding her emotions deep down inside
Only letting them escape when she cries.

For the tramp on the streets
Who wants his pain to end
Loved by no one
Hated by all
Known by no one
Despised by all
His blade is now poised
To end his suffering
For once and for all.

For the junkie on the corner
Who wants her pain to end
Loved by no one
Hated by all
Known by no one
Despised by all
Her blade is now poised
To end her suffering
For once and for all.
