Stunning

"Stunning" Thats what she says
You look great today!
"Oh Thanks" I say when what I wanna say is
"You know what i ate today?"
A piece of gum and one gummi worm
That's all I could afford to eat
I've learned to push myself away from my favorite treats
It started out just one skipped meal
Then it got to two
Now I just wanna puke,when I look at food
I'm doing what I wanted
The Pounds are dropping now
I'm starting to scare myself now
I wanna stop this sickness
Yet no matter all my inner fighting
There's no stopping now
It was my choice way back then
But now I have no say
This disease has taken everything
And sent me on my way
So tomorrow I'll walk right by the lunch line
And start another day.
