If i truly have ANY heart at all

by she   Apr 27, 2008

Her words are slicing through my brain,
Make them stop,
Please,
I'm going insane!!
Her haunting insults drive me to the blade,
I cut and slice away each word spoken from her bitter lips.
I shatter the mirror,
For in my reflection,
Through her eyes I see,
EVERY flaw, and the true ugliness I consume,
The ugliness she's always pointed out to me
It's a love - hate mother - daughter relationship
I've always wanted to be good enough for her,
But only through my last cut, will she EVER be happy,
When I have FINALLY rid herself of me
Don't you see,
If I truly love her,
Then I'll slide the razor,
If I truly have ANY heart at all,
I'll accept that this world is better off without me,
So I can bleed away, my pitiful excuse for a life
