Heaven-Bound

by Drusilla   Apr 28, 2008

The soft skin that kisses your every curve,
the egg shell protecting you from every vicious stare,
the gentle tossing and turning i feel within,
the images and dreams of your future,
the waiting,
the hoping,
all came tumbling down.

the everlasting pain inside a tender child,
the worry running through a mothers brain,
ends within a single phone call.

the pain,
the tears,
the hoping.
breaks down the wall keeping the womb from the outside world,
the body within grasps onto everything,

realization is something you never want to accept,
sleeping is the only cure,
as every second passes,
emotions dissapear,
fears are visable,
regrets seem within arms reach.

a decade seems to pass,
and nothing disturbs the peace within the silent mass,
where there once was a precious angel,
it is now empty.
baby is now heaven-bound.
