The Last Dance (Part 2)

by Kim   Apr 28, 2008

With a year gone by I remember,
How everything felt in the heat of the sun,
Memories fade yet always remain,
Your life was over before it had begun.

I believe that miracles happen,
And I trust in others that also do,
As, if a miracle could never happen,
How did I end up with a friend like you?

I'm dealing with my endless grief,
Keep every emotion bottled up inside,
And although my pain will never go,
The endless tears I'll always hide.

So this is my final goodbye,
Yes, I've said this enough times before,
But I think I'm finally moving on,
As I've stared dancing alone some more.

Although I'll never let you go,
I have to move on and get things right,
And regardless if I dance alone,
I'll still pray for you each night.

So goodbye my friend, I miss you,
And I have one last hing to say,
I'll love you for eternity,
And, I promise, we'll finish our dance one day.
