Hey there little precious girl

by Jasmina   Apr 28, 2008

A little girl (8 years old) that I know was involved in a car accident last night and is suffering brain damage. She hasn't woken up since the accident and if she doesn't wake up in two days time they are taking her off life support. Here is a poem I read to her when I visited her in the hospital tonight... it may not mean much to you but it means alot to me.

Hey there little precious girl,
How are you feeling today?
You know the sun aint shining down on us,
And all we can do is pray.
Deep down inside of you,
Dwells a spirit so bright,
And we all know that you can make it,
To once again see the sun's light.
Hey there little precious girl,
Oh how we all love you so,
We pray that you'll stay here with us,
We can't bear to see you go.
We pray that God's power shines down on you,
And heals the pain from within,
We pray that you come back to us,
But only according to God's will.
We pray that we once again,
See you running through that door,
And by the grace of God,
Watch you get older as you grow.
Lord this is our faithful prayer,
To see this precious girl get well,
We know that you can do anything,
Only things that thoughts could tell.
Hey there little precious girl,
How are you feeling today?
May you by the will and power of God,
Meet us again this day.
