My best friend

by Jo   Apr 29, 2008

He sits there
against the wall
tapping his fingers along with his Ipod

He's got brown eyes
And really curly hair
He's 5'9''
And his names Alex

He's my best friend
He knows everything about me

But there's a problem
For I don't want to be his best friend
I want to be his girl

I go home and cry
Dream about his arms around me
His breath on my neck
Him telling me he loves me not her

But for now
The 5'9'' Alex will be my best friend
And tonight I will go home
Still dreaming of what could be

This poem was so simple yet it has feelings and feelings are what it count in poetry.

if he is not taken yet then go for it and don't wait more time and if he already has a girl then just forget about him as lover and look for another, we don't get all what we want in this life unfortunately
