Easter at nannys

by Brandy   May 26, 2004

Here we go again, another story to tell,
about Easter at Nannies, man I thought that was swell.
My aunts would all bring good food to eat,
and then after dinner, we all had a treat.
The grown ups would count all the eggs that were dyed,
to make sure that we found all the ones they would hide.
After I would look around and find two or three,
I would hide between the cars so no one could see.
Then I would peel those eggs as fast as I could,
I knew that I shouldn't but boy they were good.
We would search for a long time and search really hard,
to find all the eggs that were in the back yard.
All the eggs that were hid, we never did find,
I knew if I told them they would beat my behind.
So I kept it a secret and kept it real well,
what happened to those eggs, I wouldn't tell.
After many years of holding it in,
I finally told them what I did back then.
Well now that it's over and I sit here and grin,
I don't feel too bad I'd probably do it again!

* my mama wrote this and i thought it was cute(its a true story)*
