remembering that fateful day
that brought us closer together.

is not like many others.
its about a girl who steals
her neighbors cover.
Your blue and white jacket
was just my size
and big enough
to disguise
that chocolaty mark.
i wish i could have hit
that girl with a big piece of bark!
For days and days
i forgot to return it
and a week later
you were all like
"dude i need my cover"
so i promised to return
it to you the very next
day which is how we
soon learned of that bedpost i hate.
but soon enough you were
back in your jacket
and i was copying all
of your answers.
the joy of sitting next to
has yet to suck
and i thank you very
much for babysitting
