Tanners Poem

by Megan   Apr 30, 2008

As you laid there
I could see it in your stare
It was His turn to take you
And our turn to share

So I did what was in my power
To keep you just one hour
So others could devour
Just a bit more time with you

You died there in my arms
I kissed your face so warm
Reassured you of no harm
And watched as you took your last shallow breath

Missed you certainly are
Remembered you will be forever
When we look at the stars
We know you are watching over

For TLS…
RIP #82

Yeah... I actually held Tan as he died from a asthma attack... Scary thing.. I actually have asthma, so it was a really big reality check.
