Long time outsider

by Ares   Apr 30, 2008

Peace is over due,
this time,
i'll come for you.
bend and break away,
the lies,
can't face the day.

so shoot me,
alive and well,
make this a win,
as war rages on,
we believe it's true,
that evil is here,
what are we for,
if we can't destroy?

kings are obsolete,
this time,
they will defeat,
protect in solitude,
show off,
your younger attitude.

so shoot me,
alive and well,
make this a win,
as war rages on,
we believe is true,
that evil is here,
what are we for,
if we can't make peace?

Now this poem is good! You did a really good job with meaning and imagery, and making me think, and just writing well. Very good! Again, you don't need commas after everything! It takes away sometimes. Other than that, overdue is one word, 'we believe is true' is a confusing line, so maybe spark that one up a bit. But otherwise, woo!
