Heartbreaking

He found in his bedroom,
a self addressed note.
On that peice of paper,
a letter she wrote.
"For the memories we shared,
for the fun time we had,
we travelled the good, but circled the bad.
You gave me your heart, it now broken on three.
Knowing you will never again hold me.
The time has come for you to be free,
and forget the pain that was given by me.
So take this note and as we part.
Keep all of those memories locked in your heart.
