Mother dearest

by Madison   May 1, 2008

Saturated heart of indistinct proportion
entranced by the dignity of love unfolding
changeling child into the night
born by the light of beauty in its fullest
casting far the hardened fate
into the void from springs forth life
a distant stranger ever coming
looks for tragic eyes to hold
only a gaze for which is nothing
means enough to be kept sacred
locked into the ever changing graces
of the hardened folds of mothers heart
