Blank Reflection

by Hear You Me   May 1, 2008

Mirrors and glasses, turn away and crack,
This world is to blame for all that you lack,
Shatter and splinter into shards of nothing,
Because humanity is not worth the looking,

The demons of the word: immoral, corrupted,
They care to look, but this must be distrupted,
The victims of circumstance refuse to stare,
Because it's they who experience society's glare,

Many gaze quickly into a looking glass,
And disregard what they may have found,
Some choose to shed their inside so fast,
When they look they only see what's bound,

Others stare softly into the broken window,
Hoping to glimpse the other side,
Few find any answers, others none,
No clues as to why and what lies inside.
