At my death

by Jason   May 26, 2004

Sober for the moment’

sober with this pen in my hand
death has been knocking since day one of my birth
but heck nah
I’m not about to let nothing, not even death kick me off my turf
not now and not in the end
because when my end comes your going to know why it came
It wont be because I fell down, by a gun
It wont be because I’m hopeless
and it wont be because of when I was younger
everyone around me did that dope shit
it will be because I am happy now
because the truth has come
and now you are aware
that I am truly your number one

what will they call me you ask
well just like all
they will call me what I am
and that is
your son
and I have finally passed that test
to be real to all and to give my love the best way that I can
