Poem to my teacher

by shlottie   May 1, 2008

THIS IS TO MY ENGLISH TEACHER HE
when i said i did this for him its not about him hes the one who got me to start writing in the 1st place

I'm now swimming in a pool of guilt and regret.
How could I tell this teacher my secret,
my secret that was meant to be kept.
Kept away locked inside
A secret that's mine to hide

You see I cut
No not like the people you see on t.v
No I do it so no one will ever see
Hiding it from all who are close to me
this is my treasure
It's the only thing in this life that can set me free
Free from the memory

Within the depths of my mind
This is my secret treasure
I've buried in the sea
Everyday I did a little deeper into the bed of the sea
The waves wash upon my skin in every direction
but always in the same way

no matter how deep i dig i cant muffle my own screams
screams so loud god himself could hear ....
somehow "he" couldn't
