Lady of the Night

by Tara McDonald   May 1, 2008

Who is this pretty girl
Who walks along the dark streets
Wanting to be loved wanting to be held
Don't judge her she is just trying to fill that empty void
She fills it with strangers and money
Hoping they will love her back
But she's fooling herself she knows better
She knows this is not the life for her
But its the only life she knows
It's a job a lonely job
Even though she spends every night with strange men She has never felt this lonely in her whole life
Shes just girl, a lonely, scared, little foolish girl
