The deadly race

by andi   May 2, 2008

As i ran into the darkness
struggling to stay alive
i thought i saw you behind
running the same race
but as usual, i was deathly wrong
it was true you were there
but your race was a
marathon not a triathlon
i was swimming deadly rivers
biking up a mountain
and running from a monster
but you, you were merely jogging
when you spotted me...
you swam next to me in the rivers
pushed me up the mountain
and slade the monster
you promised i could cross the line before you
you made me so happy and
trusted you...with everything
we were in love...until...
you killed me.
