Wind

by Mimi   May 2, 2008

A light cool breeze
Caresses her cheek,
Toying with the equilibrium of earthly essences.

A brisk of air
Chills each bone,
Her lungs fill with anxious tension toying
with her mind.

A gasping tornado
whips her hair,
sucking her into confusion toying
with her heart.

Ridding herself of these memories
She's brought back
to the grass
and the comforting sun

Her truth
Her new reality
