Cause Unknown

by lex laramire   May 4, 2008

Awakened to a newness,
a feeling of content so sublime;
Fate itself cannot concoct such a sweetness.
Faith strikes cords, that stroke embers of warmth;
spread quick.
Bursting with a violent compilation,
of some unknown sadness.
turns the warmth cold.

I Reach out, grasp, cling, claw, fall.
Eye brimming with the force of tears;
Cause Unknown.

Close my eyes to the wonder,
taste the sweet bitterness of pain
Touch the loneliness within me;
still plain as day.

Rage swells proud and true;
call for me to be true.
Slip beneath the waters;
hold true the ache I crave.

Slip from my lips a kiss
Caress with your hand;
my sweetness.
Take forth for my heart, my soul;
All that is me.

Tears flow briefly, freely.
encasing the wounds I hold.
Your Strength seeps into me;
lets me break the hold.

With in wounds lie memories,
Of wondrous times I've Know,
The Serenity from them is unending;
unless taken and controlled.

whisper of gentle longings,
fragments of stars in our eyes;
looking for pieces to complete me,
finding that one is you.
