A Man Lost

A Man Lost

A strong soldier;
Who fought,
To serve our country,
A Vietnam veteran,
A man lost.

A son,
A brother,
A grandfather,
A friend,
& my uncle.
A man lost.

The cocky,
Hard headed,
And stubborn man.
Afraid of nothing.
Sweet on the inside,
Hard on the outside,
Now,
A man lost.

A sweetheart.
Who will do anything for you.
Would kill for you,
Make all your pain go away.
Teach you how to play pool,
To play poker,
& attend your graduation.

Someone who gives you cards on your birthday,
And made sure that they were Hallmark.
Someone who rewards you,
Just for getting your learners permit.
Now is,
A man lost.

Someone who schooled you on the world,
Guys,
And school.
Wrong & right,
What to do,
& what not to do.
Life in general.
Is now,
A man lost.

A man lost.
But
NEVER
Forgotten.
Someone who will always be with us.
In spirit,
Mind,
& heart.
May his soul rest in peace,
And forever be,
In our memories.

A man lost.
