Suffocation of the mind

by coverd in darkness   May 4, 2008

Suffocating in her own darkness,
Lost without a soul,
Years past now the cuts get deeper,
Promises broken just like her,
Can't control what she's doing,
Never remembering what she's doing,
Tears roll down not calming like the rain,
Everything continues to get darker,
As she finds the next weapon,
Thing to numb the pain,
Knowing she can pretend,
The kitten scratched her,
Very few people will think different,
Very few will know of her secret,
Know of her pain,
Losing a family member,
Still recovering from losing a best friend,
All too much to handle,
Along with troubles with the boyfriend,
Complications with the ex,
A house her home which creeps her out,
A sadness that can't be explained,
Bones refusing to work,
Nights so frozen yet not even winter,
Will this ever end,
How will my story end?
