My faded window

I feel my life
will suddenly shatter
burst into flames
and slowly fade away

I'm trapped in a life
wrapped in a ribbon
of painful sin
bound in troubled minds

I paint my life over
trying to make it right
peeking through my faded window
finding everything out of sight

Trying to find the lord
and praying he would help me
wash away all the sins
so I can see through my window once again
